An experience of a rajdhani express

TRAINS:
Indian railway offers a wide variety of experiences, from a train with average speed of 25 kmph to a train with average speed of 85kmph, from a pigs sty to a king's palace. One of the most luxurious trains of India is the Rajdhani express connecting the important cities of India with the capital Delhi.
The first Rajdhani express was started in 1969 and it was called Kolkata Rajdhani connecting Howrah (twin city of Kolkata, Capital of West  Bengal with  Delhi.) This train operated by Eastern Railways of Indian Railways and is one of the most luxurious and prestigious trains. It is given the most preference and is hauled generally by WAP-7 locomotive, the most powerful indigenous locomotive of India of the Howrah shed. This train converts a distance of 1440 kms in 17 hours at an average speed of 84.7 kmph and is the fourth fastest train of India. Or halts at Dhanbad jn.,Parsanath,Mughalsarai jn., Allahabad jn., Kanpur jn. in its whole journey.
I was traveling to Delhi in this train on 6th Match 2015 and am about to share my experience.....
Howrah station(16:45 hours): The rake comes from the Howrah shed behind its general time of around 16:25pm . I was not sure if the train would be according to schedule. I was right.... The train didn't start on 16:55 pm. I could feel the jerk during the loco sturdiest at around 16:58 pm and it finely started at 17:03 at a total 8 minutes behind schedule.
King: It was once again proved that word is the king.. The answer is the Howrah Rajdhani.
Near Dankuni the lines from Sealdah(a station in Kolkata )and Howrah meet. When we were nearing Dankuni,I saw a train standing in the side lines, it was Sealdah Rajdhani. Once we passed, it started... Pricing that the old horse is still gold. Aswe crossed Dkae we were served with evening snacks and tea .
ASANSOL  AND SITARAMPUR: Suddenly the train slowed down and as I looked out I saw a lot of points and intersections and large freight trains, and our train creeped  into a long platform of ASANSOL JN.  . After crossing i looked through the windows to catch a glimpse of the ASN E.L.S . i  could see a lot of WAG 7 of various sheds and few ASN WAM4, ASN WAG5h and a few WAP 4, what amazed me was a super clean WAP 7 from howrah.
After 15 minutes we passed Sitarampur Jn. at a speed of over 100 kmph. From here we got diverted to Grand Chord route.
CHOTO AMBANA STATION: Choto ambana is the last station of Eastern Railway and the beginning of the East Central Railway. Suddenly the train came to a halt with a loud noise.I was amazed but again thought that as it was approaching  DHANBAD JN. and ECR . It was halted for almost 50 minutes and soup was served with bread sticks and butter during the hault. It started its journey again around 8 pm
Dhanbad:  The train approached Dhanbad at a brisk pace ,and entered the platform . After a short halt ,shorter than ususal as it was late,it departed. Shortly after leaving dhanbad we were served dinner. After finishing dinner i went to sleep as i wanted to experience the high speed corridor of ALLAHABAD-KANPUR-NEW DELHI

I missed the actions at Parsanath, Gaya, Mughalsarai as I was busy sleeping.

Allahabad:After dinner i fell asleep, but i woke some time before reaching Allahabad , passing Allahabad outer. We reached ALLAHABAD JN. at 3:05 am at a late of about 15 minutes.  after leaving starts the high speed action. The public address system board showed continously that our train clocked speeds of 125-130 kmph.

KANPUR: Our train reached KANPUR JN. At about 6 am. I was gearing up for high speed action in this sector and wanted to enjoy it as much possible. I saw a host of trains like Mahabodhi Express, Bilaspur Rajdhani in ICF livery ,late running Puroshottam Express,Vikramshila Express with GZB WAP 7s and MGS WAP 4s and the Rajdhani with a super offlink of AJJ WAG9

POST GAZHIABAD TRAIN: After crossing GAZHIABAD JN. we crossed through the slow areas with a mps being very low. We crossed through the stations like Sahibabad, Anand Vihar, Pragati Maidan, Tilak bridge and finally Shivaji bridge

After many change overs and intersections we reach NEW DELHI station at platform 16.
