An experience of duronto express

Trains:-
A RIDE OF DIGHA-HOWRAH DURONTO EXPRESS ;)
DURONTO is a class of super fast , non-stop, luxurious train of Inilways. DURONTOs were brought in  action by erstwhile Railways Minister of India ,Honorable Mamata Banerjee in 2009. These trains ply between certain important stations and are liked by people as they gave no commercial halts but only certain technical halts. Dgha-Hwh is one of the most shortest DURONTOs plying between the sea center of Digha and Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal.
Some information about the train:-
Departure from Digha Flag Station:-15:35
Arrival at Howrah Junction :-18:40
Time of journey :-185 minutes
Distance covered:- 189 Kms.
Rake consist:- 7 Ac chair cars, 1Executive Class
General loco :- SRC WAP 4
Average Speed:- 61 Kmph
Class:-DURONTO

DEPARTURE:- As I reached the Digha station , by 3 pm I saw the whole consist on the station, I could see a SRC WAP 4 far away reversing to couple with the rake, I wanted to the front to the see the coupling, I was unlucky as I was caught in some work, when I went to see the loco I saw the driver testing the loco and the brakes.
Meal :- The catering charges are included with the fare. As soon as the train left Digha every customer was served with a bottle of Rail Neer or water. After leaving the station time we were served with Evening tea and snacks. The meal had a wet tissue and a Frooti as a Welcome drink . With that we were served with a veg sandwich, kachuri, laddu,a packet of peanuts and a tea/coffee kit.
Panskura:- Just before  Panskura  the line meets the KGP-HWH MAIN LINE,we halted for few minutes in the steep turn as the train had to curve in the middle line and a train towards KGP was passing... Once we were into the main line the train Really  became  DURONTO or really fast.
Santragachi :-We entered Santragachi, the premium shed of South Eastern Railway. It has a large Electric Loco Shed consisting only of WAP 4, an electric trip shed of mainly freight locos like WAG 7 (CNB, ASN, KGP) ,a diesel loco shed (mainly KGP WDM 3a for shunting purposes) and a coaching yard.

Arrival at HOWRAH :- We slowly moved from SRC moving through Ramrajatala , Dasnagar , Tikiapara at a very low speed ,then emerged the nets of points and interchanges. We carved into platform 20 after a long parallel run with a KGP local.
